I love to puzzle together the perfect pieces of Pacific Northwest beach treasures. Each driftwood sculpture is created from wood washed ashore on our local Olympic Peninsula beaches. I take great care to select the stoutest wood with no punk or rot. As I build my sculptures I treat and seal each individual piece, including an epoxy finish and spar urethane for exterior works, ensuring a high-quality, long-lasting work of art.

I’ve always been the outdoorsy tomboy type. Pink never found its way into my style. As an artist, my passion for beachcombing, naturally posed the question, “what can I create with these treasures from trees”? I am inspired by nature and its beauty right in my back yard here on the spectacular Peninsula. Using methods of making found materials come together into pieces of art is downright fun.
